Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/06/2013

Number: 1

Spotted a lone hummer feeding at 7:00 AM. I have had a feeder and hummingbird friendly plants for 8 of the 12 years I have been here. I sighted Hummers before I decided to set up a feeder and plant nectar plants they like. I first spotted them years ago feeding on gladiolas, since then I have enjoyed watching them. Can’t imagine a season without them, they’re my buddies.
BTW, my first report online.
