Feeders went up this morning, first hummingbird "buzzed" the feeder in mid-afternoon! Neighbors gave us the "heads up" as they had spotted one in the morning.
This date is "spot on" with previous years' return of the hummingbirds, May 5, 6, or 7 are the dates we've most often seen the first hummingbird of the season!
Going through an unusual long spell of high pressure bringing dry and sunny weather.
