I have 16 Bird Houses in the yard. One has an oval hole that is suppose to attract Swallows, but there is a Carolina Wren building a nest in it. Swallows fly around it, but won't go inside. Most of the other boxes contain babies of some kind. ( mostly house wrens) I also have Eastern Bluebirds looking for a place to raise a family. Last year we had a family of Bluebirds, but a Bear tore it down, ripped the box apart, and I hate to think of what happened to the babies. So sad.
