Hello bird people,Bit rainy but warm.I am sad to report our neighborhood chicken has pass away.Something killed her.She will be missed by the few of us who watched for her. This morning I had a pair of Red-headed woodpeckers in the oak tree also a flock of ceder waxwings. There is a white crowned sparrow hanging out here too.I am doing laundry but as soon as I am done I am going down into the trees to do some warbler watching.Oh! saw a hummer last night, first one I've seen this spring.Went to the nursery last night and picked up a honeysuckle(Goldflame),some black and blue salvia and a salvia called Wendy's Wish.Well work waits for no woman so I'd better get back to it.Good birding and gardening!
