We have discovered 3 medium sized larva and one that was much smaller.
I took one to a protected area with tropical milkweed. A day later he had hung himself and is preparing to form a chrysalis. ... Too early I suspect. The other two had been attacked. I found the remains of one. I have since taken the smallest to our indoor grow light with tropical milkweed in hopes of having at least one become a healthy monarch. We are beginning to create new "native milkweed" gardens for next school year!
