I've had my feeder out since April 28 but had not seen one until Saturday morning, May 4. I did see both a male and female but I'm not seeing as many birds as in past years. Probably the freezing temps we've had so late in the spring season. Normally I have the feeder out by April 15-16. This year I had to wait as it was too cold to put out a feeder.
