I saw the first bumblebee of 2013, in our yard, near the daffodils, today. We have many wild violets blooming, and also creeping charlie, along with the daffodils. On May 4, 2013, I saw several smaller digger bees in our yard, possibly Family Adrenidae. They were feeding on nearby violets.
