Hummingbird, Other Species Sighted

Date: 05/12/2013

Number: 1

Heard a hummingbird last night and this morning, saw 2 hummingbirds, one chasing the other. Later in the afternoon I saw one hummingbird drinking from one of my 3 feeders. Was hard to see but it looked like it had a black head and a pale chest with possible color to the neck but couldn't tell what type of bird from that distance. It perched for a while, drank, then perched, repeated, then left. We have tons of azaleas in bloom along with huechera, native honeysuckle, lilac, dogwoods, crabapple, phlox, geranium, rhododendron and columbine on the property so I'm not surprised we are getting visitors. Hoping to see alot more.
