We have several milkweed plants in our school playground areas. It is a good thing we had several because there were so many caterpillars on one plant that the others were needed for feeding. There were more than thirty caterpillars on the plant. We were able to move about twenty into habitats according to size and are hoping for healthy butterflies for the children to enjoy.
