Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/14/2013

Number: 1

Monarch butterfly spotted flying northeast across the highway. Landed on the side of the road on nearby weeds.

Yes we have common milkweed coming up over 2 feet above the ground. I have been feeding it to the Caterpillars that we have been finding out in our field. I have partnered up with live monarch and own safemonarch. We are positive it was a monarch. We know that someone a few miles away has released quite a few so maybe it came from his batch. We also have been finding monarch eggs.
