Had a first ever today, but i cannot appropriately log it here. Orchard Oriole. Male and female. My feeder has been up for 2 weeks now, and i have seen Baltimores for awhile now. It had a similar color scheme to an American Redstart. At first glance i thought purple martin but too small because i was looking into the sun so he appeared all dark to me til i got the binocs up. Sure enough, his old lady came wandering thru behind him. A pale yellow or an off green depending on your light but the same pattern as the male.
