On Sunday May 19th we had a severe early a.m. thunderstorm and in the morning I had 6 hummingbirds fighting over my sugar water feeder. I have never had more than 3 in the spring before. They were part of a bird fallout that included Orchard and Baltimore Orioles, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, Pine Siskins, American Goldfinch and Yellow-rumped Warblers.
