Just received word of a reliable sighting of a Monarch, east of Toronto in downtown Whitby, Ontario by Craig McLauchlan, a well known birdwatcher and field naturalist. Probably due to the cold weather, this is the only butterfly sighting noted on Ontario Butterflies discussion group since Friday morning.
