I released 2 monarchs, male and female, that were raised from caterpillars purchased from local butterfly farm. The cats were on display at the Piedmont Earth Day Fair Monarchs and Milkweed booth on April 27. They eclosed on May 15 and I released them later that day. Plenty of milkweed in my yard, but they did not leave any eggs behind and I still have not seen any eggs (05/27/13).
