I was out in the garden and suddenly she flew by and lighted on a lilac. I approached to be sure, and yes a monarch but rather light in color and, so, a migrant! But s/he flew off without ado. First sighting I know of in this area. No eggs or larvae yet, and I have been monitoring at River Fork as well as checking other areas I have found them previously.
