Barn Swallow (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/24/2013

Number: 1

I am thrilled to say that they have built a nest at my friends home. They have 4 eggs. The mud nest that they built is so awesome and they even anchored it to the wall. We are all excited and can't wait for the eggs to hatch We do not bother them. Luckily my friend (Vada) has a window in her front door and we can set on the couch and watch them. No one is allowed to use the front door till they leave. We have never seen this bird before and for them to be so many of them , we were shocked. They sure are beautiful and I have enjoyed learning all about them. Especially learning that they are song birds and that they are great parents.
