I was working in my flower beds when a female monarch flew in looking for milkweed. I have mainly red milkweed in my backyard which is barely up. I directed her to the front yard where I have common milkweed some of which is three feet tall. I had to leave for work so I did not see if she found the plants on which to lay eggs. I will check tomorrow.
