I had not seen but one or two monarch butterflies this spring. Then on Saturday, May 25, 2013, I realized that my milkweed, fennel, parsley and dill had about 10-15 caterpillars on them. This was very exciting as I was not sure if there was something very wrong in my yard or with my plants. I am encouraged now.
