Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 06/03/2013

Number: 1

I saw a female Ruby Throated hummer in the firebush. I didn't see her leave, but a few second later, I saw two hummers that looked like they were together fly leisurely into the firebush. One perched on the powerline connecting my neighbor's house to the powerpole while the other samples the firebush. Then they flew off together still at a leisurely pace. Shortly afterwards another hummer came to the firebush. They continued coming all day. There was lots of hummer activity. Later in the day I saw a mature male Ruby, so I know there are males and females.
