We still have the 5 hummingbirds, 3 of which have spent the winter with us. I am filling the 2 bottles of liquid almost daily as they continuously drink. I am getting ready to put out more bottles for a total of either 3 or 4. We do have flowers in bloom but think they have decided it is easier to drink what is provided instead of looking for something on their own. I had intended to take down the feeders during the warm, summer months, but don't believe I can do that. They look into the picture windows when the bottle is empty to ask for more. Then after I fill it and return it to the shepherds hook, they again come to the window to thank me. Or I am guessing that is what they are doing. They never come to the window when the bottles have liquid in them.
