First 2013 Monarch here today in West Bridgewater, MA. I was beginning to have dim expectations for Monarchs here this year so really excited to have this one today; a female who seemed to be surveying our better-than-ever Milkweed stands but at fast-flight and she only stopped briefly for a sip on some in-bloom Dame's Rocket.
