I have released a huge number of monarch butterflies. The first brood were from 2 females that laid eggs on my milkweed plants in March. 21-23. There were 148 from that group released. They all flew away. A out a week later I began collecting eggs again. From this second brood I have relaxed 31 and have about 45 in chrysalis or various instars. It has been fantastic!
