Sightings report image

Date: 06/01/2013

Number: 1

1st release from the "egg dumping" that occurred on my milkweed plants in early May. I collected over 40 eggs from that early phantom female. I gave 15 caterpillars to a fellow teacher in the elementary school to share with her students. During the following week my 5th graders watched the emergence and release of over 20 monarchs. As of today not a single egg has been laid in either my home garden or the one at school!
