Barn Swallow (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/12/2013

Number: 1

Baby birds began hatching on 6-12-2013. Thought there was 4 babies but she had laid another egg and she now has 5 babies. Both parents are dedicated to the care of the babies. They have also accepted to humans being near and no longer swoop down or chirp at us. They seem to realize we mean them no harm. Especially after the male flew into the house and I had to catch him to set him free. That was a job, cause he was really a fast flyer. Threw a blanket over him while in flight so that I would not harm him.
