First sighting was June 2nd, a female, seemed old, but still very healthy. she was nectaring into flowers of a local garden center in Granby, Quebec
haven't seen any since then. The other nymphalid species have also taken a steep plunge, there are very low numbers of the regular big nymphalidae around. verrrry low numbers...
