Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/19/2013

Number: 1

My wife noticed a little chew on one leaf in a large patch of milkweed by Lake Wazeecha. Turned out to be a newly hatched caterpillar. Further searches at the time and the next day found no other signs of eggs or chew activity. (Still waiting to see first adult.)
