Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/19/2013

Number: 1

This was the first time since early spring that I have seen a monarch in my back yard. Was beginning to give up hope. She was nectaring on the blue mist blossoms, flitting around the yard, and seemingly casing the joint. Hopefully there will be many more to follow. The milkweed is waiting - along with a hoard of aphids. She seemed to be in good condition.
