We had a butterfly count on Monday, June 17th and started at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. We did not see any Monarchs then, but I went back on Thursday to photograph a few things and spotted the Monarch in the formal/ butterfly garden area flying around. It looked fairly fresh. I was not able to determine if it was male or female.
