We were visiting Yosemite National Park in the Valley part of the park. There in the meadows is a nice field of milkweed. The flower heads were partially open to closed. We did observe about 12 or more Monarchs flying around and landing on the milkweed. There may have been more than that as we were just casually observing the Monarchs.
