Saw at least three different monarchs. Two looked healthy, one looked a little old. We saw another one but it may have been the same as one of the others but three different ones for sure.

These were the first monarchs we have seen this year. We did see two more the next day so hopefully that means more are on their way. All these monarchs were in a private property field adjacent to a public pathway/trail. The private property field used to be part of about 1200 square meters of what I believe was untouched Tall Grass Prairie, which was converted into housing during the past 5-12 years. Hopefully the owners of this last bit remaining (Hentleheff Park) will leave it undisturbed.
