Sadly what I beleived to be monarchs arriving on Cape Cod due to two eggs I found turned out to be duds. I've not seen one monarch since last September. Nor have any of the people I have watching for them. Its the end of June and I've my doubts I'll see them this year. My milkeweed is in full bloom, soon it will be drying out and unless.....If the monarchs are coming they better arrive soon. :((

It was milkweed sap. The two eggs I believed to be found have since dried out like milkweed sap and yellowed. This is so very sad I've hunted high and low for monarchs and eggs . There's nothing on either count . Nor has anyone I've had looking seen monarchs nor eggs ....... This is so depressing !!! :((
