1. Jewel-wing (Calopteryx maculate) almost ran into me & landed on a potted plant. Beautiful irridecent blue closed wing, eyes on either side of head then flew away.
2. Two days ago heavy rain, emptying bucket & found very large dead male common whitetail dragonfly.
3. Where have the bees gone? There were at least 5 very large black & yellow pollinators in my front & back yard & now not one! Neighbors been using their weed killer and worried they have killed them too!
