This is my first sighting of a hummingbird(female) on my property. I've been seeing and hearing hummingbirds on walks near my house since the first weekend in May. There are native plants and annuals here for her to get nectar - red monada, red salvia, verbena,trumpet honeysuckle, and trumpet- creeper. I also have a feeder hanging for the hummingbirds. The cardinal flower should bloom within the week.
