We have not observed one Monarch butterfly in my area to date. We have plenty of milkweed in bloom currently. We have had plenty of rainfall with a 11 inch surplus. Many other butterfly species have been observed such as the Swallowtails and White Northerns, Queens etc. We have been keen in watching for the Monarch here. I noticed we observed one June 27 a year ago. That makes them late to our area so far.
