Monarch was flying around our garden, not far from our patch of Common Milkweed. Amazingly, it was the first Monarch I have seen this year. My mother was thrilled since she has been raising Monarchs for the past several years. We have over 100 Milkweed plants on our property, Swamp milkweed and Common milkweed.
