Saw a large bald eagle on the ice in Broad Brook Reservoir while travelling on Reservoir Road in Cheshire. The eagle was on the ice next to a hole that had developed in the ice, perhaps using the hole in the ice for access to fish. The bird was in plain sight perhaps 100 feet or so from where I was on Reservoir Road, which bisects the reservoir.
