I was not able to ID the sex of the first adult Monarch sited on 7/8/13, as it did not linger, however on 7/10/13 I had another siting which appeared to be a female Monarch. The wing veins were quite clear to see. Also her movements seemed to be what I've observed in the past as egg depositing ( on my Swamp milkweed). I've been checking the milkweed the last couple of days for eggs but it's a slow process as I have masses of milkweed.
