My wife, daughter, and I all saw our first monarchs in our valley the first week of June. We have about 3 acres loaded with milkweed and other native flowers. There are now (15 July), at any given time, about half a dozen or more monarchs on our property (5 acres) and more on the land around us. If patterns hold normal, we should see dozens flying around later next month.
