I planted milkweed last year due to rabbits not liking it so much. Went out to water the garden to water this evening and saw 2 huge caterpillars (2 inch long) and a few milkweed plants already had chrysalis (two). My 9 year old told me they were Monarch. Doubled checked and confirmed. Growing on a small patch of Dwarf Milkweed.
