One monarch was fluttering around in my flower garden but was rarely stopping even at the milkweeds. I couldn't see whether it was a male or female, but it didn't seem to be looking for a place to lay eggs. Even though I have lots of milkweeds and other native nectar plants, it didn't stay very long.
