Finally saw my first monarch of 2013 in my butterfly garden. Beautiful sunny day 77F 5:30pm. Found 2 eggs after she left. I have over 200 milkweed plants, making it hard to check for eggs now that the plants are fully grown and close together. I'll watch for hatchlings in a few days.

2011 first sighting June 19.

2012 first sighting May 5.

2013 first sighting July 20.
