Found 3 Monarch eggs, each on different common milkweed plants near each other in our garden. I am very excited to find them, as I've found no eggs despite regularly checking the lush, blooming milkweed in our habitat over the past month (happily, I found eggs plus small cats in early to mid June, which resulted in 29 healthy adults released in July).
Took the 3 eggs in for rearing - they will be treated like royalty!
After reading the many reports of lack of Monarchs, I feel very fortunate to have found the eggs, and to have seen at least some adults in our habitat.
