Here is an update on the monarchs. I have only observed 3 adults all this year so far. I have had only one larva in my milkweed along the east side of my house. Plenty of milkweed, but where are the orange wonders? I have seen many large Fritillaries, Mourning Cloaks, skippers, Ohio Buckeyes, honey bees, bubble bees, and dragon/damsel flies. I have not seen but one Viceroy, and no Red Admirals (many last year).I wonder what August will bring.
