One pale and tired-looking monarch spotted this morning in High Park. Made me want to cry. Although in High Park Toronto with my dog almost every day, the monarch was - sadly - the first. A friend in the east end of Toronto also spotted her first monarch on the 26th. My daughter had seen one in our garden (also in the High Park area) the day before (on the 25th), but I missed it.
