It turned out to be a somewhat disappointing summer for Monarch sightings. I reported seeing a few over six weeks ago. Those disappeared before I could get a photo. I saw a few more about a week later. They disappeared as well. I haven't seen another since. I walk with my dog for nearly two hours a day. If the Monarchs were here I would have a good chance of seeing them. No such luck but some were here long enough to lay eggs. I'm including a photo of a caterpillar we found on our walk yesterday.
