I was on a bike ride called the Ice Cream Odyssey. It was around 1:00 and I was riding along a bike trail that parallels the Chippewa Inlet stream. On one side of the path is the stream, and on the other side is a swampy/wetlands area. The Bald Eagle was sitting high in a dead tree overlooking the swampy/wetlands area. I have seen Bald Eagles there before, fishing and eating their catch. This is the first time I've seen them there at mid-day. In the past, I have observed eagles in this spot in the early evening.
