I Spotted one Monarch in Lagimodiere Park on July 09, 2013...and did not see anymore except for the two that I found in the egg stages there after in that following week. Yes
in this same park I found thoses two eggs and the butterflies were born one week apart of each other...July 16 and 22 and released. But I have not seen any since and although I did find some eggs those eggs did not hatch at all and I have finally thrown away and this has never happen to me before, eggs have always hatched. Our Manitoba weather has been very cool since spring time and nights are very cold 9, 10 celcius overnight. Hoping for some warmer weather in August, but not so sure that Monarch Butterflies will survive if they do come this way!
