First adult female monarch sighted feeding on buddleia bush. No egg laying activity. Flittering from my butterfly garden to neighbor's yard. Acting like a male marking his territory. Never stayed on a flower long enough to be photographed. All wild milkweed perfect specimens ... no eggs or cat activity. Very sad egg-collecting season. Expect I will be tagging wild adults this year. Last summer I was a "cat" raising assembly line ... this year ... nothing!
