I had around 20 hummingbirds at this address the year before, In February a black with red throat hummingbird came back and buzzed at my window to let me know he was there. so I hung up the feeder, but have been unable to find the species of him/her. I moved to Charleston south Carolina, so I am not sure if he/she is even there anymore. I just seen a green one here today, for the first time....I was starting to think I would never see any again.
