Baby Hummer,
Only one returned this year, as I reported earlier this year. The parents of this young one[1 yr old] may have been too old to return. I have had hummers here for 10 years +. I am familiar with their behaviors.This little one seems to be freaking out because of the unseasonably cool weather and very low insect population. He is feeding more often and maybe preparing to go south. Is this common so early in the season?
